Open Houdini Session Sync opens empty hip. I tried opening houdini engine session sync in houdini before calling open houdini session sync from unreal.

Hi! @AzadNezamdoust,
Yeah, "open session sync" is always designed to create a brand-new Houdini session, as the Houdini itself does NOT support convert a background session to session sync process directly.
You could re-cook your Houdini nodes in unreal after opening session sync, so that the nodes will be loaded into session sync
Or you could set the session pipe name to hapi_session_sync
