I have the "Could not discover project ID. Make sure you're authenticated and consider setting GEMINI_PROJECT_ID" error. i already used a wrangler for set id, did all stuff with cmd/powershell to set it up, but it's not worked. Any solutions?

Are you sure the Gemini auth.json content is succesfully set in Cloudflare? Please check your worker secrets on the Cloudflare dashboard, set the content of your auth.json again there and try again

I ran into the exact same error.
I'm not deploying this on Cloudflare, but running it on my own server. After checking the backend logs, I discovered that my issue had nothing to do with authentication or Project ID settings. It was a DNS resolution problem.
My server uses Vultr's public DNS resolver. While it worked most of the time, it would sometimes fail to connect to Google, which triggered this error. This suggests that network problems or other connectivity issues can also cause this specific error, not just authentication issues.

I am getting same error since this morning. It seems Gemini CLI was automatically updated to 0.6.0.

I have been using this locally with "npm run dev".
Updating the OAuth2 credentials JSON did not solve the issue.

I ran into the same problem earlier. what fixed it for me was opening https://aistudio.google.com/ with my Google account and making sure the agreement was accepted

I only configured the GCP_SERVICE_ACCOUNT and didn’t set the GEMINI_PROJECT_ID. During debugging, I found that the cloudaicompanionProject in loadResponse is empty.
