[Bug] Custom Bullet Points using School Days #405

Description

@finaldragn

Bug Description

Defining custom bullet points with Style Settings has no effect, as the theme's icon supersedes any user entered override.

Expected behavior
When using a custom bullet shape with the School Days alternate color scheme, the new shape should override the style's default graduation cap icon.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a bulleted list in a note.
  2. Activate 'School Days' under "Alternate Color Schemes"
  3. Under Note>Lists>Lists/Bullet Adjustments, change the default Bullet Shape from '⬥' to '"→"' or any symbol of choice, such as '"§"' or '"↨"', not including the outer single-quotes.
  4. The note will still use the default graduation cap icons overriding

Versions

  • Obsidian Version: 1.9.14
  • ITS Theme Version: 1.4.03
  • [✓] Using ITS Snippet: "S - Encoded Icons" (Issue still remains even without snippet, just with an invalid character box instead of the graduation cap.)

Additional context

  • Issue first appeared in a recent update. Unsure what version I was using prior to updating, but it used to work.
  • "Default Bullet Disc Shape" does successfully override the color scheme's bullet icon.
