This issue appears in the IntelliSense tooltip for the regular expression string when creating a Regex instance. I’m using a Chinese-language environment.

I just disabled all VS extensions, but the problem persists. When I type “\s”, I can still see this incorrect tooltip.

The issue occurs with the tooltip for \s, not \r. The hint for \s incorrectly writes \r as \rr.

The bug still exists in VS 2026. I recorded a video that reproduces it effortlessly; the footage ends with all extensions disabled.

Do you have any 3rd party extension installed? This works for me on VS Insiders [11201.2], but the appearance looks different than yours.
