multiple "under sub{}" in Mojolicious::Lite?

Perhaps my design is wrong but I need to have certain routes going under 2 routes, one after the other.
For example route A is for doing a login/authorisation, and route B is for doing some query after authorised.

Both routes A and B must check if a 3rd party server is up and running before continuing. So they must both be under route CheckServer.

Route B must additionally be under an "Auth" route, i.e. if the user has a auth cookie.

So I went about with this:

under sub { ... CheckServer: check if 3rd party server is up and running ...}
route A { asking for credentials to auth }
under sub { ... Auth: check if authorised .... }
route B { user is authorised AND 3rd party server is running, let's do the query ... }

But it seems to be that the second under overwrites the first one.

In Mojolicious::Lite, this is what 'group' is for, to allow you to construct this into a tree as routes in Mojolicious::Lite are all top level by default: https://metacpan.org/pod/Mojolicious::Guides::Tutorial#Under

Thanks. So, in my scenario where I have routes (type 'B') which need authentication and routes (type 'A') which don't. And both route types 'A' and 'B' need to check if server is up, is this correct?:

# all routes below will have ONLY this check:
under sub { ... CheckServer: check if 3rd party server is up and running ...}; 
route A1 { about (and we checked server is running) };
route A2 { contact us (and we checked server is running) };

group {
     # all routes here will have this check AND the above
     under sub { ... Auth: check if authorised .... };
     route B1 { we are authorised AND server running, list users };
     route B2 { we are authorised AND server running, email users };
};

Yes that should do what you intend there. But I have limited experience with the group keyword.
