IETF IT service window on 14 August 2025

A 2-hour service window starting at 1900 UTC on 14 August 2025 is planned to allow a change in the underlying cloud infrastructure, improving performance, reliability, and manageability of the affected services.

UPDATE at 2015 UTC on 14 August 2025:The planned maintenance was completed. All services are available.

The following services will be affected directly:

  • Datatracker (datatracker.ietf.org)
  • Mailarchive (mailarchive.ietf.org)
  • www.ietf.org
  • IMAP service (imap.ietf.org)
  • rsync service (rsync.ietf.org)

In addition, login for all services that rely on the IETF authentication service (https://auth.ietf.org) will be unavailable. This includes:

  • IETF Meeting registration (https://registration.ietf.org)
  • IETF Notes (https://notes.ietf.org)
  • IETF Wikis (https://wiki.ietf.org, https://authors.ietf.org, https://chairs.ietf.org)
  • Meetecho meeting services

Please plan ahead to avoid unexpected disruption in your work flow.

No changes to services or availability is expected after the outage. An update will be sent via email and posted to the IETF Blog.
