IETF 125: Host Speaker Series
This panel session, titled "Building the Foundation of the Internet Together, Collaborating for the Development in Standards", focuses on the joint construction of Internet infrastructure and the coordinated development of Internet standards.
This session focuses on the joint construction of Internet infrastructure and the coordinated development of Internet standards. Representatives from the China Internet Network Information Center, the Computer Network Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, the China Communications Standards Association, and the Internet Society of China will share their practices and explorations on topics including domain name technology, IPv6 technology, satellite Internet technology, integration of domestic and international standards, and training young engineers to participate in IETF. They will also share ideas about the new technologies such as artificial intelligence driving the development of Internet technology and industry-academia-research integration.

Eric Bertrand is Executive Director of Product in the Connected Living group at Comcast, responsible for the end-to-end connectivity experience in the Xfinity app. He earned his bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Université Laval and his master’s in Telecom Signal Processing from McGill University. Prior to Comcast, he spent 12 years at Accenture working on wireless and Wi-Fi technologies.
